Born in Evansville, Indiana, Dave lived in Kentucky, Texas, Missouri and Iowa before coming to Arizona Shine from KGRN AM in Grinnell, Iowa, where he served as program director and also did production, news and color commentary at sporting events. He started in radio in 2004 and received much of his training in production and sound by working as an audio engineer and lead guitarist while traveling with bands all over the country as well as attending the Broadcast Center in St. Louis, Mo. Dave loves the sunny weather, friendly people and all the opportunities to be outdoors. In addition to working at Arizona Shine Dave also plays guitar for local Christian artist Covenant 31. He has two cats, Hunter and Abigail and his favorite verses are Psalm 33:4 and Jeremiah 29:11.
Raised in southern Vermont with four siblings, Amy attributes her passion and knowledge of Christian music to the influence of her worship leader father and her mom, as the family excitedly attended every area Christian concert and festival available. Amy graduated in 2000 with a Ministerial Arts Degree from Heart of David Bible College in Alabama. In 2008 she made her radio debut as morning host, weather announcer and event planner at Lake Havasu City KNLB Christian Radio.
Amy joined Arizona Shine as midday host in 2013, joyfully sharing her love for the Lord and music with listeners. With her husband Roger she also leads worship at their church in Prescott Valley. They are proud parents of their children, Raquel and Joseph, and recently became foster parents and Special Needs Pastors. Amy’s heart is to touch every life she encounters with God’s unconditional love and a smile.
