Elliahna’s Classroom

My daughter’s third-grade classroom walls portray a picture of a healthy community.  A calendar displays upcoming events, birthdays and holidays and a chart lists “Classroom Helpers” with a name proudly displayed beside each job.

Hi, I’m Sally Barton and these are my Reflections on Volunteers

Oh how pleased each child is to see their name next to: Line Leader, Animal Keeper and Eraser Cleaner!

Thousands of hours have been donated by Radio Shine’s “Family of Volunteers.”  Willingly they arrive to answer phones, assist with mailings, meet and greet at events and pray for God’s continued favor on this broadcast ministry.

Their dedication is inspirational, allowing this station to remain fiscally responsible for every donation received.  To become a member of the Radio Shine family of volunteers visit, click on the Volunteer banner and you’re on your way to making a difference.

I echo the song of Deborah in Judges 5 as she sings of the willing volunteers among the Israelites, ending verse nine by declaring, “My heart is…with the willing volunteers among the people. Praise the Lord!”
