Recently God gave me a treasured gift, the opportunity to spend time with my Great Uncle to share with him how he had built a legacy of love.
He was quiet as I shared my memories of his kindness and slowly a smile filled his face with joy. I will always cherish the memory of that moment. Just hours after my family and I left my Uncle’s side, he passed into the arms of Jesus.
I am reminded of the words of Charles Stanley, “On the inside of us is Christ who is the light. As you and I allow Him to shine forth, those who are walking in darkness will be drawn by His light.”
